I can not tell you enough how much I LOVE holidays.
My two most favorite are Halloween and Christmas.
If you follow me for a period of time you will soon see just what I am talking about.
Since my middle daughter Alora has her birthday at the end of September I always wait to decorate for Halloween until the first part of October. Plus as much as I LOVE the holidays I think its CRAZY to decorate so soon for some of them.
So naturally we decorated the first weekend we could!
We started with outside since it was a cooler day and the breeze was chili at times plus we didn't want to loose our day light.
The hubby hung up the signs in the carport and our caution tape as me and the girls stuffed our bats and ghost for our trees.
Once us girls were done we joined Ant outside to decorate the tree. The girls LOVED this part because they got to climb...
Of course we could not forget the haunted grave yard!
We added some light up door covers on our laundry room door and side door too!

And of course you can't forget a pumpkin.
Once it got cooler out and it was time for me to make dinner
I decorated the kitchen table with the creepy cheese cloth, orange lights, a skull, and (my new fav) spooky trees and rats...
I cornered my chalkboard and placed a creepy rat or two and skull.
Since we are having a Halloween party this year with the girls getting older. I started getting our photo area ready with the backdrop. I hope to add some more to it plus I saw this idea on Pinterest that I want to do in the dining room....
In the living room I decorated the "entry table" with Aaliyah's homemade pumpkin she made in school a few years back, my spooky and beware signs, a ceramic ghost candle holder and little haunted house.
Our front door welcomes you with a homemade ribbon wreath me and the girlies made a few years back.
In the kitchen I put out my spooky towels and hot pads.
I decorated our desk with cheese cloth, purple lights, a candle, some black birds and a spooky sign I picked up a few weeks ago.
Since two of my girls are ADHD and they require medication that I leave in the kitchen I used some cute Halloween buckets picked up from Target a few years back.
On our window I placed my little Frankie candle holders.
There are some things that I would LOVE to add this year but we shall see what happens.
I am looking forward to hosting a Halloween party this year!
